It’s the night we’ve all been waiting for and tonight it’s finally arriving at Villa Love Island – movie night 2022 is here.

The Movie Night Challenge began last year and allows islanders to view a series of film clips of their partner doing or saying something they were unaware of.

Everyone on Twitter has been begging for the return of movie night so the boys will be held accountable for their actions. This morning, the official Love Island Twitter account tweeted, confirming that the exciting event will be featured in tonight’s episode. They said, “You’ve been waiting for this… Book your tickets for tonight at 9pm👀🎬🍿”

An insider told The Sun the episode was “not to be missed” and almost all couples were at risk because of what happened during movie night.

They said: “The bosses have kept viewers waiting this year – but rest assured it will be worth it. If any islanders thought the misdeeds of Casa Amor were behind them, they are greatly mistaken.

“Pretty much all couples are vulnerable to what’s playing on the big screen, and it’s certain not to be missed.”

Gemma receives a text alerting the islanders to movie night, which reads: “It’s time to get glam and hit the red carpet if you’re attending the Mad Movies premiere! #SpillThePopcorn #ITV2andChill.”

After the lyrics, Dami says he “knows” he’ll be part of the clips and Ekin-Su tells Davide, “If we pass this, we’ll be fine.” At some point during the evening, Davide says to the other guys : “Don’t forget anything, in the end someone will pay the bill.”

The islanders will play a quiz to see who chooses which clips will be shown on the big screen.

Last year’s film challenge was nothing short of explosive and resulted in the most belated Love Island moment of all time. Faye Winter watched a clip of her partner Teddy Soares saying he was sexually attracted to another girl while he was at Casa Amor.

Faye ended up yelling at most of the boys in the villa but mostly at Teddy, leading to almost 25,000 Ofcom complaints.

While it has yet to be confirmed which clips will be featured in tonight’s episode, people on Twitter are guessing and suggesting their theories, and so far everyone believes that Ekin-Su, who gets closer to George in Casa Amor, will be featured just like Dami’s many kisses with summer
