RENO, Nev. (KOLO) – The biggest new movie this weekend is the highly anticipated one Where the crayfish sing based on the bestselling crime thriller of the same name. Where the crayfish sing is a coming-of-age story in which the audience follows the life of Kya Clark (Daisy Edgar-Jones), who grows up alone in the North Carolina swamps and is essentially cut off from the rest of the community. She’s growing up and just beginning to spread her wings when she’s accused of murder. did she do it Or is she just the easiest target for a community that never got the chance to meet her? The film is being produced by Reese Witherspoon and stars aspiring actors Daisy Edgar-Jones, Taylor John Smith and Harris Dickinson. The film hits theaters everywhere on July 15.

Another popular book is also being adapted for the big screen in cinemas. Mrs. Harris goes to Paris is sure to leave the theaters feeling good about yourself and life in general. This heartwarming story follows a widowed cleaning lady (Lesley Manville) who falls in love with a dress! But not just any dress. A couture dress by Dior. And she’s skimping, saving every penny she has so she can go to Paris and buy one of those dresses. Mrs. Harris goes to Paris is in cinemas everywhere on July 15th.

For movie fans looking for a little more action, Netflix brings its first-ever movie to theaters. The gray man is a Netflix Original and will be released on the streaming platform on July 22, but it will spend its first week exclusively in theaters. The premise is about a highly skilled unknown CIA agent who accidentally uncovers dark intelligence agencies, a psychopathic former colleague places a bounty on his head, and sparks a worldwide manhunt by international assassins. The all-star cast includes Ryan Gosling, Chris Evans, Ana de Armas, Billy Bob Thornton, Jessica Henwick, Alfre Woodard and Regé-Jean Page. The film is now in cinemas.

for the children Paws of Rage: The Legend of Hank hits theaters this weekend. Hank is an adorable dog with a head full of dreams of becoming a samurai. Although the animated film is aimed at children, the cast and story certainly have comedy for adults as well. Michael Cera is the voice of Hank, Samuel L. Jackson is the voice of Jimbo, Ricky Gervais is Ika Chu, Mel Brooks is the Shogun, George Takei is the voice of Ohga, Gabriel Iglesias is the voice of Chuck, and Michelle Yeoh is the voice of Yuki. paws of rage is in cinemas everywhere on July 15th.

Animals learning martial arts seems to be this weekend’s theme. Along with paws of fury, Kung Fu Panda: The Dragon Knight is a new animated series on Netflix. Jack Black is back as Po, the kung fu fighting panda, as he embarks on another brand new adventure to save the world from destruction. All eleven 30-minute episodes are now streaming on Netflix.
