After the world premiere at last year’s Toronto International Film Festival, South African supernatural horror film Good wife (Mlungu Wam) will continue to stream now Shudder.

Black Phone Vod and American Carnage

Saban Films brings American carnage hitting theaters today, on demand and digital, with a cast led by a fan-favorite Scream 2022 and “Wednesday” star Jenna Ortega.

The film was rated an “R” for “some disturbing violence and gore,” a bit of which can be seen in the trailer. American carnage seems to mix “social thriller” aspects with the full horror mayhem of something like that the facultywhich should make for a fun mix.

“After a governor issued an executive order to arrest the children of undocumented immigrants, the newly incarcerated juveniles are being offered the opportunity to have their charges dropped by volunteering to care for the elderly. Upon entering the aged care facility, the volunteers discover that the governor and facility manager have hatched a horribly depraved conspiracy that puts young and old alike in peril in this twisted thriller comedy.”

Jorge Lendeborg Jr., Jenna Ortega, Allen Maldonado, Bella Ortiz, Jorge Diaz, Yumarie Moralesand Catherine McCafferty star, with Brett Cullen and Eric Dane also in the cast.

gone in the night winona ryder

Formerly titled The cowhas published Vertical Entertainment Gone in the night a new horror film starring the main roles in selected cinemas this weekend Winona Ryder (“Stranger Things”).

Gone in the night then coming to Digital and On Demand on August 2nd.

John Gallagher Jr. (10 Cloverfield Lane), Dermot Mulroney (The courier), Owen Teague (It franchises) and Brianne Tue (47 meters down: Uncaged) also act in the film.

In the film, “Kath (Ryder) and her boyfriend (Gallagher Jr.) arrive at a remote cabin in the redwoods, only to find a mysterious younger couple already there.

“The rent has apparently been double booked and since they have nowhere else to go they decide to share the cabin with these strangers. When her boyfriend disappears with the young woman, Kath becomes obsessed with finding an explanation for their sudden breakup – but the truth is far stranger than she could have ever imagined.”

Eli Horowitz (“Homecoming”) directed the co-written film Matthew Derby.
